Observing the Thanksgiving day, on November 26th the American Corner Skopje in the City Library
”Braka Miladinovci” in Skopje, organized a thanksgiving celebration. On this occasion, the US Ambassador, H.E. Phillip Reeker visited the City Library and participated in the awarding ceremony for the winners of the thanksgiving essay contest but also for the thanksgiving dinner, together with the Library Director, Mr. Filip Petrovski.

Dear members, I am delighted to announce the number of newly registered users in our library. Namely, on the occasion of the 63rd jubilee of the City Library “Braka Miladinovci” – Skopje, a decision was brought for free membership of the interested Skopje citizens, from November 17th to 20th. I’d like to inform you that in only 3 working days, the library has 2.521 new members.
This is a number which gives us the right to think that we are capable for achieving our goal and the challenges lying before us. I wish to all the new members to find in the library: enchanting and educational books, pleasant moments of socializing and meeting new people.
